Our Warranty


We aim to provide clear information about our service and warranty terms to ensure your satisfaction. Please review the following details:

 

Service Charges:

  • Our charges are based on retail labor rates, industry-standard time allowances, or our own professional judgment of the appropriate time needed for the service, rather than the actual mechanics' time.
  • The price you'll be charged will not exceed the estimated amount you've approved.
  • If we find that different or additional repairs are necessary, we will contact you in advance for your approval of the revised estimate.
  • We may operate the vehicle for testing, tuning, and inspection purposes.


Limited Warranty:

  • We take great pride in our work and offer a Limited Warranty for all parts and labor performed as specified in this Work Order unless otherwise stated on the reverse side.
  • Repair or maintenance work is covered for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Used parts carry a 90-day parts warranty. Customer-supplied parts carry no warranty.
  • Batteries are covered by specific manufacturer warranties.


Warranty Coverage:

  • If the vehicle malfunctions due to a defective part we installed or labor we improperly performed, we will, within the warranty period, repair or replace the defective part and/or re-perform the labor at no additional charge to you.


Limitations:

  • This Limited Warranty is applicable only to you, the original purchaser of the service and/or repair, as detailed in this Work Order.
  • It covers only the work performed and parts installed according to this Work Order, with no other implied or expressed warranties.
  • Normal wear and tear on installed parts is not covered.
  • This Limited Warranty does not extend to towing, storage, car rental, damage to property, damage to components due to contaminated fuels or lubricants, loss of use, loss of time, loss of income or profit, or any other consequential or incidental damages resulting from defective parts or workmanship.

At Pensacola A/C & Auto, we take pride in providing top-notch service and quality parts for your vehicle. To ensure that we can properly stand behind our work, we kindly request that you obtain our prior written consent before seeking repairs at other facilities.

 

If a part we've provided fails, and you choose to have the vehicle repaired elsewhere, we do require written proof of the part replacement in order to process a refund for the cost of the part.

 

Our Limited Warranty is designed to provide peace of mind for our valued customers, and we want to clarify the circumstances under which it may be voided. Please note that the warranty will be voided if:

 

  • Overheating occurs.
  • There is a lack of lubrication.
  • The vehicle is used off-road.
  • There is evidence of misuse or negligence.
  • The vehicle has been subject to abuse.
  • Unauthorized modifications have been made to the work we've completed.

 

It's also important to keep up with the regular scheduled maintenance and service of your vehicle as per Pensacola A/C & Auto's recommended intervals to ensure the continued validity of this warranty.

 

Please take note of the following:


Rubber-Based Components Warranty: Due to the potential impact of harsh weather conditions, components like windshield wipers are guaranteed for a period of 6 months.


Future Service and Repair Costs: Services or repairs not explicitly mentioned in this Work Order are not included unless stated in writing. This Limited Warranty does not cover any repairs or replacements that are within the scope of a manufacturer warranty or any other applicable warranty. Please be aware that Florida law governs this Limited Warranty.


Notices:

  1. Your vehicle is not insured or protected against loss or damage due to theft, fire, vandalism, or any other cause while it remains with Pensacola A/C & Auto Service Center.
  2. We cannot assume responsibility for articles of personal property left in the vehicle.
  3. We are not responsible for delays in parts shipments or unavailability of parts that are beyond our control.

 

Subcontracted Work: Depending on the nature of the service requested, some work may be subcontracted, and this will be clearly indicated on your Work Order.


Payment and Storage: All charges for services and repairs are due and payable upon the delivery of the vehicle or within five (5) days after you have received notice of the service and/or repair completion. Should your vehicle not be picked up within five (5) days after such notice is provided, a storage fee of $25.00 per day will be incurred. Unpaid charges for service and repairs that remain unpaid for thirty (30) days after the payment request may lead to Pensacola A/C & Auto referring these charges to a collection agency or attorney. In such cases, you will be responsible for our reasonable attorney's fees. We may also initiate the process to place a mechanics lien on the vehicle.


Lien Authorization: By signing this Work Order, you grant Pensacola A/C & Auto the authority to place a lien on your vehicle for all charges related to repairs, including labor and parts, storage, and towing. This lien will be enforced in accordance with Title XL Chapter 713 (Articles 713.585) and any other legal remedies. Pensacola A/C & Auto is also authorized to sell your vehicle at public auction after providing a written notice of sixty (60) days to the legal owner in cases where payment for services is outstanding.
